We, the Fripp Island Friends of Music, are thrilled to have the opportunity to brag about our role in your health, even if we couldn’t bring you the wonderful concerts this season that you have been enjoying for decades in our Community Centre—all because of the devilish virus.
On Sunday, March 7, 5:00, the Center for the Arts will once again resound with live, lively, and life affirming music. During this unprecedented concert season, USCB Chamber Music has dealt with its share of upheaval. The one constant is that in each instance lemons have been turned into lemonade. The show has gone on with spectacular results.
For dance students, age 10-19, the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities’ student ballet competition, Grand Jeté, not only offers the opportunity to compete for cash prizes and learn from esteemed dance professionals in master classes. They will also get the chance to be seen by some of the nation’s top dance university and trainee program recruiters.
Bestselling Novelist Sara Shepard and Teen Actress Lilia Buckingham join Conroy Center for virtual conversation
The nonprofit Pat Conroy Literary Center will host #1 New York Times best-selling novelist Sara Shepard (Pretty Little Liars) and teen actress and advocate Lilia Buckingham, coauthors of the new novel Influence, a murder mystery set in the glamorous and precarious world of instantly famous social media influencers. Shepard and Buckingham will be in conversation with the Conroy Center's Beaufort High School student intern Holland Perryman and executive director Jonathan Haupt.

Anything Goes!, an exhibit of member art at Art League Gallery, celebrates the depth and breadth of artwork created by Art League exhibiting members. Truly anything goes at this exhibit: any media, size, shape, form or subject. From 2D media such as painting and photography to 3D art including sculpture, ceramics and jewelry, all artworks will be on display and for sale.
